- Rotate bicycle onto rear wheel. Applying the rear brake or pushing the saddle forward with your thigh will help this motion.
- Place front wheel on support prongs. Use your knee or thigh to support the saddle while you lift the bike.
- Lock the bike to the rail. Position the lock through the front wheel and frame.
- Remove any valuables. Don’t forget cycle computers, lights etc.
- Lock the frame of your bike to a bike hoop. Position the lock through the front wheel and frame.
- Do not lock by the wheels only due to its ease of removal, resulting in the offender taking the rest of the bike.
- Make sure the lock is tight on the bike, making it harder to break. We recommend using a good quality D-Lock.
- Remove valuable components such as lights, bike computers etc.
- Photograph identifying features of your bike to prove that it’s yours. Record its serial number.
