About Parkiteer
An initiative to get more people riding
A PTV initiative
With the support of Public Transport Victoria, Parkiteer connects commuters to the Victorian transport network by bike. Stemming from the words park-it-here, Parkiteer provides a free and secure place to leave your bike when travelling by public transport.
Where we started
The first Parkiteer facility was built in 2008 to manage growing demand for secure bicycle Parking at train stations. Since then, the network has grown over 130 locations and thousands of members.
Less congestion, more riders
More people riding their bikes to the train means less cars on the road. Parkiteer makes riding easier so Victorians can connect to public transport and help create a more active and sustainable transport future
